9 Macon HotelThe Macon Hotel is on the Columbus Registry of Historic Places and important to the history of the Near East Side, once known as the Cradle of Jazz. The hotel was one of a several locations where jazz musicians from around the country both stayed and showcased their craft. The building has been neglected and the City of Columbus has issued code violations
